OK-I know I am biased, but Annabelle started ballet this week and she really is the cutest little ballerina ever! Of course, half of the attraction for her is the outfit, but let's all admit that the most important part of any high school dance was the outfit too! Max couldn't stop taking pictures of her in her tutu. She really did well in the class! Halfway through, she realized that she was surrounded by mirrors and had a 5 minute session of making faces at herself and posing in front of the mirror. The teacher let her have her time, then gently led her back to the group! Ballet is now the highlight of her week, and ours, too!

A Good Time
Nothing new to report, everyone is doing good! I am really thankful to be 14 weeks along now, and am totally enjoying the nausea being gone! The kids ask me questions everyday about the baby, some of which I am not prepared to answer, such as "How DOES the baby come out, Mom?" Distraction usually works, that is until I figure out how to answer! Darren has been home the whole month of May, which is so nice and won't happen again for a while! He is a huge help, and a better mom than I am! I am so thankful for this easy, restful time from the Lord!

Ribs with ChiChi

My Mom was here for a week, and we had a great time! I had just started to feel better, but she was still a huge help-letting me nap and have time to myself! One day, she took us to eat at Tony Roma's. None of us had ever eaten there, even in the States, but it was great! Max LOVES ribs, which is obvious in the picture of him below!

A Visitor From Costa Rica!
Our wonderful friend, Lorena, came to visit us last week from Costa Rica! We had a great time-ate a ton and shopped even more! She was such a blessing to us, with her encouraging spirit and babysitting services, too! Our spanish got better and better as the week progressed! We love you, Lorena!

There IS Someone In There!

Yesterday we went to the doctor for our ultrasound! We heard the heartbeat, which was great, and got to watch the baby for a while on the ultrasound! The kids loved it-especially this picture, where the baby is waving! They cracked up! My due date is Nov. 18th, and I feel SO much better this week! I can honestly say that I am more amazed today by God's miracles than I have ever been! He truly is THE Giver and Sustainer of life, and we are grateful!
