Off to the beach we go...

Tomorrow we are leaving to meet my family in Florida for a little vacation! As you can imagine, we can't wait! Darren will be in Costa Rica for 2 weeks, which is how this trip came about. After being in Florida for a week, we will go to Tyler and Dallas for a week, then come back home. I am so excited about seeing my niece and nephews, and everyone else too! I am also looking forward to seeing crowds and crowds of Americans! It will be refreshing to be home, and being able to remind the kids where they came from! Annabelle thinks she was born in Costa Rica, since all she can remember is last year! Oh, to drink Dr. Pepper, eat Blue Bell ice cream, and some good Mexican food! No matter what happens, I will be counting my blessings!

It's A...

BOY! We are thrilled! We had an ultrasound done at our 20 week appointment, which was so fun! Max and Annabelle just crack up the whole time. Since we were all convinced it was a girl, we were shocked! What a fun day! We celebrated at Cinnabon-yes, we have a Cinnabon here! I don't know what I am going to do with all of Annabelle's pink dresses! Hmmm...maybe e-Bay.

20 Weeks

This is our sweet baby at 20 weeks! I feel like I should be 30 weeks, but I have a ways to go! This has been the hardest pregnancy by far, but Darren and the kids have been so helpful, especially when I am so cranky!

4th of July Part 2

So as not to be completely unpatriotic, we decided to have a Coke Float Party to celebrate the 4th of July! The kids loved making the decorations, and they got real Coke because we couldn't find root beer!

Happy July 4th!

OK-So we are having a little trouble knowing how to celebrate the 4th here in Panama. How do you explain to a 3 and 5 year old what we are celebrating? Besides a cook-out or going to the lake, what do Americans do on this day? I'm at a loss for inspiration!
