We Don't Mess Around

Make no mistake-2nd grade flag football is serious business! Max's first game was a blast, and he did a great job! Max had 2 good snaps and pulled 6 flags-not bad! Way to go, Bears!

Room for One More

This is our new kitten, a total impulse buy. Annabelle is really missing Max during the day, and needed someone to play with other than the "screamer." Cats are so low maintenance compared to dogs, and what's one more? She is a really good cat so far, and thankfully not easily intimidated! Rusty is thrilled, as is Simon, and Annabelle is thankful to have someone to dress up! Good luck, Sprinkles!

Bears Football Picnic!

She definitely has spirit!
Future linebacker
Playing Center this year on his team!

Simon Holt

Just a few updated pics of him-he is growing like a weed! He now speaks in short phrases, and is still very funny and very active! This boy is truly "all boy!"

Our Student of the Week!

That's right, folks! Our Max is "Student of the Week" at his school this week! He said he couldn't believe it when they announced it this morning over the intercom! He told us that the award was for his "manners." Nothin' like a sign in your yard to make you feel special! Way to go, Max!

Our Huge God

If you want to be encouraged today, visit our pastor's blog to learn about a group of refugees from Burundi, Africa that our church is joining with right here in Ft. Worth, TX! It is SO exciting to watch God unite His people!

Big Kids!

We officially survived and even enjoyed the first week of school! God has been so sweet to make this transition wonderful for Max. He is in a great school with a wonderful teacher and already has friends (thanks to his new flag football team)! He has grown up so much, and no longer shows signs of shyness or anxiety in new situations! God has brought him SO far! He likes school, but thinks the day is a little long!
Meanwhile, Annabelle and Simon are playing together more, but missing Max. Annabelle LOVES doing schoolwork, (no surprise), and will be reading in no time! She is also taking gymnastics with a new friend. We are all having fun getting to know all new people in our new town!
