My Bible Study this morning looked at Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 1, their visions of Christ in all His holiness. The truth is comforting. We don't have to try to understand everything that God does and allows on this earth.
"Now that is a view of God that we have lost in the church in our generation: the high, exalted, lofty, exclusive, unparalleled, unprecedented character of God. Preferring the comfort of His nearness, we have lost the reality of God's transcendent holiness.
Who is like God? No one. That's because He is holy. He is separate. He is completely unlike us."
